Metallica to play in India in October
Metallica's Bassist Robert Trujillo says, “Also, we are going to play India in October, That should be interesting, playing a place we never thought in our wildest dreams we'd (go) to play. He added, It's an honor for all of us that we get to be a part of that whole music scene as a metal band sharing our music with fans in India at this incredible concert!.”
The Metallica concert will be held alongside the inaugural Indian Grand Prix F1, scheduled in October 28th this year at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida, NCR. Metallica are yet to state if there is any chance of them performing in other cities. To complete the package, Lars Ulrich's thunderous (yet complex) drumming clicked in perfectly with Cliff Burton's innovative bass playing. After releasing the masterpiece Master of Puppets. Tragedy struck the band when their tour bus crashed while traveling in Sweden. Burton died in the accident.
