Chardham Yatra 2011 - 6th may Gangotri-Kedarnath- Yamunotri. And on 9th May Badrinath kapaat (temple doors) were opened. Just like past year lacks of devotees are expected to arrive for Chardham yatra-2012 in Uttaranchal. Date for this year’s Chardham yatra is yet to be decided. Chardham yatra starts with the opening of the all the four pilgrimages Gangotri-Yamunotri-Kedarnath-Badrinath. But according to Indian calendar it falls on ‘Akshaya Tritiya’ (an auspicious day of Hindu).
